Adam simply faced the monitor again, resuming his work as he toyed with his comlink. No point in arguing with a feral. Sometimes he would swear females and ferals were the most stubborn creatures in the universe.

Evan followed Pharoby, a stubborn line settling in her shoulders. "Time is critical here sis, the more we can learn about St. Cyr the better. I'm not saying we take them with us when we go." She settled for a more cautious approach than she wanted. "And believe it or not, I can take care of myself." The last came out slightly more acidic than intended.

Pharoby did what she knew would ruffle Evan more. She kept quiet as she put the water on to boil, and rummaged through the cupboards looking for tea bags.

Evan scowled, biting her tongue; literally. She walked over to a particular cabinet and took out a box of tea, slamming it onto the counter. Evan's eyes flashed feral, "Be like that." With that, she walked over to the table and sat; staring broodingly at Pharoby.

Pharoby smiled inwardly, but kept her face calm. She might be the younger of the two, but she knew how to push buttons.
She took the tea bags and calmly placed them in two teacups. "Could you find the sugar too, sis?" she said a little sweetly.

Evan shot Pharoby a scarcastic look as she got up, having to glance through a few cabinets before she found the sugar. She sat again, after carefully placing the breakable container of sugar on the countertop.
After a few moments her face smoothed out, the right corner of her mouth lifting. "Want to try out the new Dojo after this?" she asked, her tone completely civil. After all, Adam did need time...

Pharoby poured the water over the teabags and sweetened her cup, leaving Evan to sweeten hers. She carried the cup over to the table and sat down, not answering Evan yet. She was careful not to project anything of her feelings just yet. Sipping her tea, she tried to figure out Evan's enthusiasm about the dojo.

Evan got up and retrieved the cup off of the counter, not bothering to sweeten it. Taking a sip, she continued to watch Pharoby for a while, and then shifted her attention to the architecture of the kitchen.
Adam seemed to favor utilitarianism with a slight twist of the contemporary/Zen look to it, at least in the kitchen. After completing her inspection, she studied the view from the door, her aversion to Pharoby's gaze becoming slightly more obvious.

Adam had just started on his second set of search criteria when he next spoke. "Jesse, where are you at?"
The molecular's voice answered after a minute, "I'm heading back from safe house 3 Adam, around five minutes away. They were running low on food again. I dropped off enough food to feed an army, but I don't think it will last those teenagers the rest of the week."
Adam chuckled and nodded to himself, "Get back as soon as you can, we've got some company."
